Tennessee mental health hotline expanded to support teachers during COVID-19

Tennessee educators will now have access to a mental health hotline to support them during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report from the Associated Press.

The Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse services set up the hotline for healthcare workers and first responders in May, but it has now been expanded to cover educators, according to the Associated Press.

To access the hotline, call 888-642-7886 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Central time.
