Volunteers say everyone is welcome.

"We have young kids, we have older. No matter what their race, everybody comes in. We have a lot of seniors that come in. Some that can't make it, they will call in, and say 'My friend is going to pick up me a meal. Will you give them a meal for me?' - and we will do that," said Stephanie Scott, head over the St. John AME Soup Kitchen Ministry.

The church also does Thanksgiving and Christmas giveaways.
