MADISON, Ala. — Quick Care Wellness Pharmacy is now offering COVID-19 tests at their Madison and Huntsville locations. The clinic started offering the test about a week ago. A nurse practitioner at the clinic said patients who get tested will have their results in about 24 hours.
If you believe you have symptoms and would like to get tested, staff at Quick Care ask you to do one thing first, before coming to the clinic.
"We are asking patients if you are having symptoms-- cough, fever, shortness of breath, any breathing difficulties-- we are asking patients to call," said Heather Porch, Nurse Practitioner at Quick Care. Calling first is a precautionary measure that will help them serve patients better.
"We have a primary care program -- trying to separate the well patients from the sick patients to keep everybody safe," she said.
Porch said the clinic also offers IV infusions and vitamin infusions, and there is a full pharmacy at both locations.
