A grand jury indicted three suspects on misdemeanor charges in an assault that happened earlier this summer during a kayaking trip on the Flint River.
Jordan English, Brittany Pratt, and Zach Young were initially charged with felonies for allegedly attacking a group of Huntsville High School students floating down the river. The jury reduced the charges to Class A misdemeanors. They go on trial in February.
