Florence Police have released additional information on the robbery and assault case that led to the arrests of three suspects and the search for a fourth.

The fourth suspect, Lukas Liparote, turned himself in to the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office Thursday night.

During a Wednesday morning press conference, Florence Police Detective Price said that the robbery and assault, which took place on January 23 at the residence at 219 S. Spurr St. in Florence, is believed to be drug-related. The five people involved, four suspects and the victim, all knew each other and had been at the residence throughout the day before the alleged crime.

The victim was beaten and sustained non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital and is now recovering at home.

The victim’s car was stolen and recovered two days later in Colbert County, but his personal belongings in it have not been recovered.

Three of the suspects, Chance Ellis, Bradley Murawski, and Daylen Murphy have been charged with Robbery 1st and Assault 3rd. The are currently in the Lauderdale County Detention Center with a $51,000.00 bond.
