Farmers in Alabama who were impacted by the recent drought can now apply for federal help.
The Small Business Administration is offering economic disaster loans in Jackson and Madison Counties in Alabama, as well as in Lincoln County in Tennessee. The loan program is available to businesses suffering financial losses as a direct result of the drought.
