STEM toys reducing screen time

Attendees of the 117th New York Toy Fair saw the latest trends happening in the toy industry, including offline STEM toys, which help kids learn while they play.

Parents want to keep their kids engaged and educated, without the screen time, and toy-makers are responding to their demands.

STEM toys are science, technology, engineering and math-based toys, and these ones focus on everything from coding to mechanics, but without the computer. Off-line STEM toys entertain kids and teach them how to solve real-world problems with no iPad involved.
