Decatur City Schools COVID-19 update

Ten days after opening, cases are reported among students and staff.

DECATUR, Ala. — Decatur City schools gave an update on COVID-19 cases.
Ten days after reopening, nine students and five staff members have tested positive.

Right now 204 students and 24 staff members are quarantined.

The district is are going to do a trial run of virtual learning soon, just to test it out.

If you or your child have been exposed, the school systems says you will be notified.
