HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Teachers at Blossomwood Elementary in Huntsville received temperature checks and answered a series of health-related questions as they entered facilities.
Even though the kids won't be there with them, teachers are still looking forward to the virtual sessions.
"Even though we're not starting our normal school year in the building and we're gonna be virtual for the first nine weeks of school, I'm really excited just as well as all the other teachers are about getting started on our new platform this year."
The first day of school for students is Monday, August 17.
Students will be learning remotely for the first nine weeks.
