The date for this year’s “Big Spring Crush” wine festival has been announced.

This year marks the fourth for the event, which will take place Saturday, September 16 in Big Spring Park East.

Visitors will get the chance to experience at least 150 different wines from around the world, while enjoying live music.

Food trucks will also be on hand to give festival goers wine-inspired menu items.

Monday, organizers talked about what’s new for the event this year.

“Having the nine different winery representatives from California coming to our festival is a really big step for our festival here in Huntsville,” said Ashely Ryals, owner of Homegrown Huntsville.

A new VIP admission is also available, which gives guests a wristband voucher redeeming one entree at any of the food trucks.
