Suspect Jeremy Owens is charged with Capital Murder in Birmingham Police Department Sgt.Wytasha Carter’s death. He was arrested this morning around 10:45 a.m from the Spain Rehab Facility.
His full charges include:
-1 Charge of Capital murder of a police officer
-1 Charge of Capital Murder of Wytasha Carter
-2 Attempted murder charges
Owens will be transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
