Drivers in Limestone county can expect a big road project coming soon.
The county just received a nearly $1.5 million dollar grant to improve the intersection at Highway 72 and Mooresville Road.
Right now officials say drivers sometimes have to wait through multiple signals to get across the intersection because traffic going left and straight are in the same lane. With the intersection being just five miles from the new Toyota Mazda plant, officials say improvements are necessary to keep up with growth.
