Decatur Police report that Austin High School was briefly placed on lockdown today after a bomb threat.
Morgan County 911 received the call about the threat at about 12:15 and multiple police units were dispatched to the school.
The threat was found to be not credible. According to police, the suspect was identified as an out-of-state individual who had previously harassed a specific student at Austin High School.
The scene was cleared at about 12:45. Warrants are being obtained for the suspect’s arrest.
