Alabama is once again among the nation’s leading states for business.
Area Development Magazine ranked Alabama at number four overall. The state also did well in specific categories.
It ranked first in “favorable general regulatory environment” and “speed of permitting”. It also ranked second in “most improved economic development policies” and third in “overall cost of doing business.”
According to the magazine, the best state for business is Georgia.
