Alabama is looking to put more teachers in the classroom, especially special education teachers.

About 10 percent of the student population in Alabama qualifies for special needs services. The state school superintendent says there are major challenges when it comes to filling this gap and says the department is looking at incentives to attract more special needs teachers.
