Adopt a free pet during Huntsville Animal Services ‘Full House’ emergency special

Huntsville Animal Services has more than 80 animals in the Shelter and more are coming in each day.

It’s a full house at Huntsville Animal Services and they need your help.

Animal Services is over capacity and more stray pets are coming in each day.  Now through April 20th, the shelter is offering free adoptions. This special includes the same benefits as a full adoption package. All pets receive a rabies vaccination, city license, microchip, and spay or neuter surgery. Exceptions may apply on some pets.

“The day before it was a little over 80, and that’s a little too much, that’s getting to almost over capacity. We like to stay around 30-40 is nice, but we usually stay around the 60s which is good,” explained Stephany Maples McBride, with Huntsville Animal Services.

The shelter is located at 4950 Triana Boulevard. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
