HUNTSVILLE— Alabama A&M University has announced that three of its best-attended basketball games will be played offsite this year.
Due to renovations and repairs of balcony seating at Elmore Gymnasium, there are limited seating options, and the school determined that fans for the UAB and Alabama State games could not be accommodated there.
These games are being moved to the VBC and Bill Harris Arena.
The men’s basketball game against UAB will be at the Von Braun Civic Center on November 29, 2018.
The men’s and women’s game against Alabama State on January 19, 2019 will be played at the Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham, AL.
All other home games are scheduled at Elmore Gymnasium.
