Would you like a chance to tell your police department how they’re doing? Huntsville residents are about to get that opportunity.
The Huntsville Police Department is conducting a Citizen Satisfaction Survey to get local feedback on their department. According to Huntsville Police Chief Mark McMurray, the goal of the survey is to assess public opinion about the department and get a better understanding of the concerns of the community.
HPD wants residents to answer as honestly and accurately as possible. To facilitate this, the survey and responses are being handled by a third party and are confidential and anonymous.
The results of these surveys will help HPD in training officers, checking public perception of their operations, and planning for the future.
The results of this survey will be made public this fall.
