Hand sanitizers recalled because packaging 'looks like food and drink pouches,' USDA says

The products are no longer available for purchase and Ashtel Studios advises consumers who still have the recalled product to destroy it immediately.

Ashtel Studios issued a voluntary recall of all of its licensed hand sanitizer that was packaged in .84 ounce containers because they resemble "food and drink pouches," according to the recall report.

The following products are included in the recall:

  • PAW Patrol Hand Sanitizer
  • JoJo Siwa Hand Sanitizer
  • Hot Wheels Hand Sanitizer
  • Barbie Hand Sanitizer
  • Trolls Hand Sanitizer
  • Minions Hand Sanitizer

According to the report, ingesting hand sanitizer could potentially result in alcohol toxicity. The report said that Ashtel Studios has not received any reports of adverse reactions.

The products are no longer available for purchase and Ashtel Studios advises consumers who still have the recalled product to destroy it immediately.
