Score good deals, freebies for Super Bowl LVII

Applebee's, Little Caesars, DoorDash, more offering big deals for the Big Game

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Chips and dip... buffalo wings... pizza... They are the signature dishes of the great American football game and some of the biggest items traditionally ordered for Super Bowl Sunday viewing parties.

With minds and stomachs focused on the big game, many national brands are offering you special deals leading up to kickoff (and even after the celebrations end).

Here are just a few of the offers we've found for you gridiron diehards via lifestyle blogs The Pioneer Woman, Lifehacker, and Coupon Cabin:

Speedway: Speedway rewards app users get special pricing on whole pizzas, orders of wings, snacks and drinks now through February 21.

DoorDash: "The Hangover Shop" is a specialty delivery-only shop available to help you wean off the victory party overindulgence. Starting at 10 a.m. CST on Monday, Feb. 12, DashPass members can get up to $15 worth of free hangover recovery products per account. Availability/delivery areas will vary.

GrubHub: More than a dozen deals are being offered between Feb. 7 and game day, including cash or percent-off deals across multiple stores and free side items at others. Deals will vary based on location

Little Caesars: The chain known for rapid-fire pizzas and wings is also the official pizza sponsor of the National Football League. One hour before kickoff on Sunday, online orders will be eligible for bonus perks including 99-cent Crazy Bread, free items with additional purchase, cash-off deals, and a code for 30% off at NFLShop.com. Until then, many locations are offering 35-percent-off deals online.

Papa Johns: Not to be outdone, the other chains are getting in on the football deal action. Papa Johns is offering a large Ultimate Meats Pizza (with pepperoni, salami, sausage, Canadian bacon, and hickory-smoked bacon) for $11 in most areas. An order of Bacon Cheddar and Wisconsin Cheese-Stuffed Cheesesticks is available for $6.

Pizza Hut: The Hut scores a two-point conversion for football fans and nostalgia lovers with the return of their 16-inch Big New Yorker Pizza. Running about $14 per pie, this extra-large offering is cut into six "floppy and foldable" slices and comes with two kinds of pepperoni.

Applebee's: Using code BIGGAME23 unlocks 40 free boneless wings with any To-Go or delivery order of $40

Taco Bell: Participating restaurants are offering an "Ultimate Game Day Box" which includes 4 crunchy tacos, the recently-revived Mexican Pizza, plus an 8-piece order of bone-in wings and some spicy ranch dip on the side. Advertised price is $22 but may vary by location.

You could score free pizza from some of the major frozen pizza brands. Red Baron is offering one lucky fan a year's worth of free pizzas. Click here to enter that giveaway. Meanwhile, DiGiorno is offering free pies via a drawing if any kicker manages to make the ball connect with the crossbar on the goalpost during the game.
