Looking to take a break from the heat? Do it at the library!

Huntsville-Madison County Public Library has a lot in store for the community this summer: from new book clubs to yard sales, there is something for everyone!

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — It's hot out there and sometimes you need a break from the heat. So, why not head to the library?! You're in luck! 

The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library has a lot going on this month.

For starters, they host outdoor movie nights every other Thursday. 

This Thursday, July 8, is the next scheduled movie night and the film showing is 'Into the Woods', a modern twist to Brothers Grimm fairy tales in the form of a musical.

The following movie night will be held on July 22 and the movie showing is 'Forbidden Planet'.

This Saturday, July 10, there will be a community yard sale at the Tillman D. Hill Public Library location in Hazel Green. 

The sale will take place on the green area outside of the library from 10 am to 3 pm. 

The library says come and find your treasure!

Sellers need to sign up in advance with Ms. Kendall by phone at 256-828-9529 or at the library, 131 Knowledge Drive, Hazel Green, AL. Spaces for selling are $10 each.

They are also starting a new book club for suspense and thriller lovers called 'High Octane Book Club'. The first meeting is on Tuesday, July 13 and this month's book is Genesis by Robin Cook!
