Titans add 5 new coaches, Mike Vrabel keeps 2 assistants

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Tennessee Titans have hired five new assistant coaches with coach Mike Vrabel keeping a couple assistants.

The Titans announced the moves Tuesday.

Pat O'Hara will coach quarterbacks with Kerry Coombs overseeing the secondary. Shane Bowen will coach outside linebackers with Tyrone McKenzie in charge of inside linebackers. Rob Moore will coach wide receivers. Vrabel is keeping Craig Aukerman as special teams coach after having been an assistant for that unit. Arthur Smith also is being retained as tight ends coach.

O'Hara spent the past three seasons with the Houston Texans with Vrabel. O'Hara also played quarterback for 16 years in the NFL, World League and Arena Football League. He spent 10 years coaching in the AFL.

Moore spent the past three seasons coaching Oakland's wide receivers.
