Panama City nightclub manager arrested for underaged, prostitution activities

Investigators received a number of complaints about underaged dancers

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) - A Panama City Beach adult nightclub has been busted for illegal activities for the third time in less than three years.

Bay County Sheriff's Investigators served a search warrant at the Show-n-Tail located at 8776 Thomas Drive early Sunday morning.

The warrant was executed about investigators received a number of complaints about underaged dancers at the club.

Sheriff Tommy Ford told News 13 investigators found a 17-year old female working as a dancer during the search. He said they also uncovered prostitution activities going on inside the business.

The manager Arie Prozer, 42, was arrested on five charges including Cruelty Towards Child, Keeping House of Ill Fame, and Procure for Prostitution.

Prozer is being held in the Bay County Jail on a $127,500 bond.

According to investigators, five dancers were also working at the time of the search and dancing with their breasts exposed. They were arrested for violating Bay County's morality ordinance, which restricts nudity at establishments selling food, drinks or alcoholic beverages.

In addition, Ford said investigators found three illegal aliens inside the business. They were turned over to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

In April 2014, investigators arrested a former manager and eleven dancers for violating the morality ordinance. Less than three years later, they charged a former manager and five dancers in December 2016.

The morality ordinance has been controversial with club owners challenging the law from time to time, but in December 2016, investigators told News 13 it's not usually something the agency goes out on the hunt for.
