North Alabama Land Trust attempts to expand

Marshall County looks to be where the North Alabama Land Trust will invest next

GRANT, Ala. - One of the Tennessee Valley's best kept secrets may just get a little bit better.

The North Alabama Land Trust is in the process of acquiring land near Grant in Marshall County, but needs your help in the funding process.

The acquisition cost is $500,000, but the land trust has some big expansion ideas for the park that already is home to waterfalls and a natural bridge.

Melanie Manson, North Alabama Land Trust Marketing Director, says, "Beyond the current public access area there is a lot to explore and we would love to open it up for hiking trails. It is also bordered by TVA property and we would love the opportunity to connect with them."

Manson went on to say that if your are interested in supporting the cause, feel free to make a donation on their website or drop by the park and use the donation box.
