Investigators are asking for public's help to find suspects

Two men wanted for robbery at Walmart in Hazel Green

Sheriff Blake Dorning says that at about 11:30pm on Thursday, June 15th, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at the Walmart in Hazel Green.

They were told that a victim had been approached by two men who asked to use his cell phone, then knocked him to the ground. When he was getting up, he was struck again and lost consciousness. The suspects stole his cell phone and car, a 2012 white Nissan 370z.

The suspects were described as two black males wearing khaki shorts and dark colored hoodies, one with green tennis shoes and one with white tennis shoes, who were walking around the parking lot of the Walmart.

The victim was taken to Huntsville Hospital with non-life threatening facial injuries.

The Sheriff's Office is also looking for a maroon van which is believed to be a witness that can provide further details about the suspects.
