Attorney for man found not guilty of killing his wife speaks out

Larry Marsili, the attorney for Charles Carrithers, who was found not guilty of killing his ex-wife Mary Carrithers, spoke after the verdict was returned.

Marsili said, “Charles has always maintained that he did not do this. He acknowledges and regrets not coming forward with the information he had in a more timely manner, but has never wavered on the issue of whether he killed Mary Carrithers.

"We appreciate the efforts of this jury, who had a difficult task ahead of them, and Charles looks forward to moving forward with his life with his family and respectfully asks for privacy. These last several years have been very taxing, as you can imagine, and Charles is relieved to have these allegations behind him”.
