MADISON, Ala. — On Saturday, the North Alabama War Dawgs hosted a Back-to-School event giving away school supplies at James Clemens High School on Saturday.
"Means a lot, giving back to the community," said Tim Jones, the Owner of the War Dawgs. "We got school supplies here for the teachers and students. We're just looking forward to giving back to the community."
"So, one of the biggest things was composition notebooks," said Chasen Uptain, a former coach at Madison County High School. "They said they really needed composition notebooks. We were able to get 100 composition notebooks. There's pens, papers, protractors, loose-leaf paper. Anything. You name it, they got it."
