City of Madison hosting free flu shot clinic

Flu shots are available for people of all ages on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Health officials are encouraging people to get a flu shot to reduce the risk of stress on the health care system as COVID-19 continues to spread.

MADISON, Ala. — Need a flu shot? The City of Madison is holding a free flu shot clinic on Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Madison City Hall, 100 Hughes Rd., in Madison.

The City of Madison and the Madison County Health Department are hosting the event. 

Flu shots are available to all ages. Citizens are asked to bring their Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Advantage Cards if they have them. Masks are required within City Hall and are available in the front lobby.
