2020 Election: Less than 30 days to register to vote in the general election

There are a few different ways to register to vote, but one of the easiest ways is to do it online.

ALABAMA, USA — Tuesday, September 22nd is National Voter Registration Day.

There are now less than 30 days left to register to vote in the general election. The deadline to register is October 19th.

You can register to vote by printing, filling out, and mailing the application to the Board of Registrars. Click here for the fillable pdf application.

You can also get the application mailed to you. Just enter your information here.

One of the easiest ways to register is to do it online at sos.alabama.gov. Click here for the Electronic Voter Registration Application.

Madison County Probate Judge Frank Barger said, "A lot of folks sacrificed a great deal so we have this opportunity. Please exercise your right to vote, and if you're not registered and you should be you have time to do that as well, so get out and vote. It's extremely important."

If you are already registered to vote, make sure your information is up to date by October 19th.
